Human intention in Health

I believe there is some aspect of believing for health to be achieved, and then again I do not think there has to be a belief..it just depends..I know people who just do not want to be healed or attain good health.  We, or others, get addicted to talking about our ailments and living with them.  So many do not even know what good health or state of being even feels like.  If they would start to attain it, what would that mean for them?  What dynamics would change in their life and what kind of choices would they actually have to start making?  Some of this is on a conscious level, but much of it is on a subconscious level.. But anywho, whether in eastern of western medicine, the intention of the person being worked on is a determinant to how quickly the person may recover..then again, maybe not!  Some may heal miraculously overnight, yet even what looks like overnight, may have taken much longer than we know..

Kirlian Photos

Auras already exist, but the human and mind wants to be able to see and explain things.  That seems pretty normal to me, really...Taking pictures of the aura helps a little bit with this.  We like to be able to recognize or grasp something to believe it.  The funny thing is that even when you DO see it, people  (scientists) would like to describe it as something other than an aura, spirit, or whatever..

Acu as Effective Energy Medicine

Acupuncture is an effective energy medicine.  Qi is a big part of acupuncture and some describe Qi as energy.  As acupuncture does move qi/energy, chemically and physically things are affected in the body.  I do feel so many talk about Acu as energy medicine, but I get a little tired of that.  I do and would like to continue to learn ways to describe acupuncture to people in ways they may understand.  It is only semantics, after all, cause acu works regardless of whether you "believe" in it or not! (in my experience, at least...)

Biophysics and OM

From what i've read, biophysics studies molecules and how they work together, how they are transported, etc., in a very specific way.  I don't feel Chinese Medicine is this specific.  We want to know how things work as a whole.  Although things may be broken down into organ patterns and specific symptoms, biophysics seems to be a study of physics and chemistry combined.  Chinese Medicine, unless you are talking about herbs, doesn't have much to do with chemistry.  Somehow, if you looked a little deeper, maybe you could find some connection...OM looks at how food is transported and transformed into energy and different organs involved.  This is just a bigger, broader view than biophysics would ever THINK of being:)

Living Being

I feel I am a living being because I eat, poop, and pee.  I have blood running through my veins and need water and food to sustain me.  I feel I am a living being because I am somewhat able to communicate with my own "species", and well as maybe someday even reproduce.  If I choose to do so, I even have the ability to think and make wonderful choices!  Yes!

Synthesis of East and West

I believe East and West may come together.  People want to believe they are so separate, but we have already studied quantum physics and how the physical and spiritual, or unseen, are very closely related.  Without understanding Western disease and how our bodies function, I do not believe we may understand Qi, meridians, and Eastern medicine.  These two complement one another and both have their place.

E-Prime

From what I have experienced in the mornings past, my spirit feels more calm and happy waking up to classical music instead of NPR.  I think it is due to hearing so much negativity first thing in the morning, although NPR seems to have a broad range of views and programs later in the day.  As my day progresses, I find myself running from one thing to the next...school, work, homework...Although I sometimes feel I have no life, I know I am blessed to have the opportunity to learn things I have always wanted to study!
